1. Scope and acceptance
These site-specific Terms apply to your use of AuthorOnAir.com (the "Service", "we", "us") and incorporate the Archieboy Master Terms by reference. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to both these site-specific Terms and the Master Terms. Where a conflict exists, these site-specific Terms control for AuthorOnAir.com.
2. What we offer
AuthorOnAir.com produces short, book-aware AI-hosted author interviews. You upload a book you wrote or control; our AI host prepares from it and conducts a focused interview designed to finish in under ten minutes. Paid purchases may include editing, a downloadable MP3, transcript, show notes, promotional clips, and publication on the shared AuthorOnAir podcast feed. Spotify is currently connected to that feed; Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music are still pending.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the books you upload and the audio you record. By using the Service you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process the manuscript so the AI host can ask informed questions; store your recordings; produce edited interviews; generate transcripts, show notes, artwork, and short-form clips; and publish interviews you approve. AuthorOnAir operates one shared podcast feed; purchasing an interview does not transfer ownership of that feed. You may revoke publication permission by deleting your interview, which removes it from our feed. You may download and reuse your own finished audio and content kit anywhere.
4. Acceptable Use
You may only upload books you wrote or have explicit written permission to publish a podcast about. You may not use the Service to publish episodes that defame, harass, or impersonate any third party. We reserve the right to remove any episode or feed that violates these terms, the platform policies of our distribution partners, or applicable law.
5. AI host disclosure
The interviewer on every episode is an AI voice agent. We disclose this clearly in episode show notes. You agree not to misrepresent the AI host as a human interviewer. The substantive answers in each episode are yours; we do not script your responses.
6. Purchases, subscriptions, and billing
One-time Content Pack and Book Launch Campaign purchases do not renew. Their interview quota must be started within the stated 30-day recording window; discarded re-recordings do not consume an additional interview. Monthly and annual continuity plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case by case under the Master Terms.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Episode production is best-effort: we publish edited episodes within the cadence of your plan, but a particular episode may take additional time if the AI host encounters problems with your manuscript or recording.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and at the top of this page.
