How we handle your data.

Last updated: 8 May 2026.

1. What we collect

  • Account info: the email address and name you register with.
  • Books you upload: the manuscripts you submit so the AI host can read and interview you about them.
  • Recordings: the audio you record during your interviews, plus any transcripts and edits we produce from it.
  • Usage data: standard server logs, page views, and a small set of analytics events used to improve the Service.
  • Billing data: handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

2. How we use it

We use your account info to manage your access; your manuscripts and recordings to produce your podcast episodes; and your usage data to operate, debug, and improve the Service. We do not sell your data, and we do not train third-party AI models on your manuscripts or recordings.

3. Who we share it with

  • Our AI providers (currently OpenAI for voice and Anthropic for text), strictly to produce your interviews and episodes. They process the data on our behalf and are contractually barred from using it to train their models.
  • Our podcast distribution partners (Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music) — but only the published episodes you authorise, never your raw recordings or manuscript.
  • Stripe, for billing.
  • Law enforcement, only when we are legally required.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and (if you opt in) analytics cookies for Google Analytics 4 and ad-platform pixels. No third-party advertising cookies are set without your consent.

5. Data retention

We keep your account, manuscripts, and recordings for as long as your account is active. If you delete a show, we pull the feed from public directories within seven days. If you delete your account, we delete your data within thirty days, except for billing records we are legally required to retain.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. If you live in the EU, UK, California, or anywhere else with formal privacy rights, we honour those rights regardless of where we operate from.
